The Business Services Support Representative provides support to Merchant Services, Remote Deposit Capture, and Cash Management products, including document preparation and processing, becoming familiar with Business Mobile services offered through Business Digital Banking and is working toward a basic understanding of business products.
Compensation staring $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Actively assists with client relationship activities by supporting the setup and maintenance of cash management products and services, while developing the skills and confidence needed to perform these tasks independently.
- Assist with client inquiries by providing information and helping resolve issues, seeking guidance as needed to ensure accuracy.
- Assists in joint client and prospect meetings with commercial lenders and branch teams, supporting business development efforts. Focuses on building communication skills and product knowledge by helping more senior staff with cash management discussions and client support.
- Supports client base by identifying cash management solutions and cross-sell opportunities, developing analytical skills to better understand client needs.
- Build foundational knowledge of cash management products, services, and pricing, with the goal of supporting the team more effectively over time.
- Assists with initiatives for client retention, cross-sales, referrals, and client satisfaction by providing support to the team and working to develop strong customer service skills.
- Helps review documentation for accuracy and monitors exceptions, gradually developing the attention to detail and technical skills required for independent cash management support.
- Suggests ways to improve and streamline services for efficiency and quality assurance.
- Supports internal teams and third-party vendors with modifications and implementations related to cash management services, learning about daily client service delivery processes.
- Assists in monitoring regulatory and compliance requirements by supporting the team and participating in training related to company policies and procedures, with the goal of developing compliance awareness.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years previous personal or commercial banking and general banking experience
- Knowledge of bank operations and products including but not limited to Business Online and Digital Banking, Business Checking and Savings Products, RDC, ACH, Wires, Bill Pay and Positive Pay Operations.
- Ability to discuss bank products with customers in a courteous and professional manner both over the telephone and in person.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage projects.
- Capable of working independently. Manage time effectively completing assigned duties within required deadlines.
- Provide problem resolution to both internal and external customers in support of customer retention and satisfaction objectives of the Business Services Department.
