About the role
A TGT
(Trained Graduate Teacher) in a CBSE school is responsible for teaching
students from classes 6 to 10, adhering to the CBSE curriculum guidelines. The
role emphasizes academic excellence, student engagement, and holistic
development.
What you will be doing
1.Plan, prepare, and deliver subject-specific lessons in
accordance with CBSE guidelines.
2. Develop and use innovative teaching methods to ensure
student engagement and effective learning.
3. Prepare and distribute teaching materials, lesson plans,
and assignments.
4.Conduct periodic assessments and evaluate students'
academic progress.
5.Follow the prescribed CBSE syllabus and integrate it with
classroom teaching.
6.Maintain updated knowledge of CBSE regulations, changes in
curriculum, and examination patterns.
7.Prepare students for internal and board exams with
appropriate guidance and practice sessions.
8.Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical
skills among students.
9.Address individual learning needs by employing
differentiated teaching strategies.
10.Encourage participation in co-curricular and
extracurricular activities.
11.Create a structured and disciplined classroom environment
conducive to learning.
12.Handle student queries, conflicts, or challenges
empathetically and effectively.
13.Promote a positive learning atmosphere by fostering
mutual respect and inclusivity.
14.Regularly update parents/guardians about students’
progress and areas of improvement.
15.Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to
address student needs and curriculum goals.
16.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades,
and assessments.
17.Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and
school events.
18.Prepare lesson plans, examination papers, and progress
reports.
19.Stay updated on advancements in teaching methodologies
and subject knowledge.
20.Attend workshops, seminars, and in-service training
programs organized by CBSE or the school.
Who we are looking for:
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s
degree in the relevant subject(s) (e.g., BA, BSc) from a recognized
university.
Bachelor
of Education (B.Ed.) degree is mandatory.
CTET
(Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualification as per CBSE
requirements.
Experience 2+ years in the same position.
