Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.
Support the reliable operation and maintenance of liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.
Conduct minor inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize gas/chemical equipment performance.
Perform daily rounds to contribute to site safety and efficiency, including recording readings, monitoring systems, and facilitating gas/chemical container exchanges.
Develop a deep understanding of liquid bulk delivery procedures to support site-wide safety and quality.
Facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of bulk gas and chemical trailers.
Assess situations thoughtfully and collaborate with the team to find solutions when challenges arise.
Serve as an active contributor to the Emergency Response Team.

Contribute to customer and Air Liquide community programs, including Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance.
Partner in the growth of TGCM contractors by offering training support as needed.
Uphold our collective HS&E Standards to ensure a safe environment for everyone, including PPE and safety programs.
Contribute to the team’s success by completing assigned tasks according to established procedures.
Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures to support product quality.
Dedicated to the safety of our team, our neighbors, and the general public surrounding our facilities.
Hazardous Waste Technician (at applicable operations locations):
Support the safe transfer of materials to the storage area by following established documentation and safety procedures.
Contribute to emergency preparedness and safe material handling by following our shared safety protocols for spills and container preparation.
Partner with the team on waste minimization initiatives and maintain a helpful understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED OR 5+ years of experience
2-3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good communication skills
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment
Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements
Electro-mechanical aptitude
Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actions
Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules
Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 60 lbs
Ability to stand/walk up to 11 hours per day
Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)
Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)
Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
