Job Location: Quechan Casino Resort - Winterhaven, CA 92283
Position Type: Full TimeUnder direct supervision of the Table Games Shift Manager, assists the Shift Manager in the basic functions of the casino pit operations.  Observe blackjack dealers in operation to ascertain that policies and procedures are being adhered to in the table games area.  Under the direction of the Supervisor, oversees and designates tables to the Casino dealers and ensure proper colored cards are distributed for the daily operation of blackjack and provide accurate Player Tracking.  Maintains confidentiality of all information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Assist the Supervisor in overseeing that all games are conducted within Department Standard Operating Procedures, MICS and NIGA.
•    Resolve any conflicts which arise during the operation of the games.
•    Maintain Game integrity and Player Tracking, and overseeing the operation of 1-6 gaming tables.
•    Recommend to Supervisor when additional tables need to be opened or closed to accommodate or adjust business needs.
•    Track Table Game players play to include monies bet, descriptions of players, level of play, Fun Club Members and complete Title 31 information as needed.
•    Designate tables to the Casino dealers and ensure proper colored cards are distributed for the daily operation.
•    Request fill and credit for Casino tables.
•    Attend meetings as needed/required.
•    Begins shift in complete uniform and good personal hygiene.
•    Provides a friendly, fun, harmonious atmosphere for guests and staff.
•    Follows all Casino & Table Games Policies and Procedures.
•    Responds to customer’s requests.
•    Assists in cleaning and maintenance of Table Games area.
•    Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
•    Performs other duties as required.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED plus three years dealing experience, one year in a supervisory capacity required.  Must be 21 years of age in California.  Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California if applicable. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred.

Located at 350 Picacho Road in Winterhaven, California, the administration building sits atop Indian Hill overlooking Paradise Casino to the East and the construction of the new Fort Yuma Health Care Center to the North.

Here you will find the offices of the President, Vice-President, and the Tribal Council Members. The Tribal Chambers is also located within the building where meetings with the Tribal Council are held.

Also located within the administration building are the offices for the Tribal Administrator, Tribal Council Secretary, Comptroller, Human Resources, Payroll, Revenue Distribution, Finance, our Grants Writer/Coordinator and Records Retention.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. The offices are closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch break.
