General Information:

In the Technology Analysis Lab you will be an important part of the development of our Power Electronics products (inverters, converters, mild hybrid systems, transmission controls, HV Box). The area of responsibility includes a huge variety of mechatronic analyses of control units as a complete product as well as microscopic detailed analyses of individual interconnection technologies or materials, including documentation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Technical disassembly of products and execution of analyses in cooperation with technical project responsible;
• Analysis and evaluation of materials, packaging and interconnection technologies;
• Support of measuring equipment (maintenance, instruction, calibration, ...);
• Evaluation and discussion of the analysis results with regard to customer specifications;
• Documentation of test results in technical reports;
• Support in the planning, execution and monitoring of engineering tests;

Your Qualifications:

• Appropriate professional experience / training, preferably with a focus on materials testing, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or comparable;
• Professional experience in dismantling and material analysis of mechatronic assemblies (e.g. disassembly of control units, metallography and light microscopy);
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g. soldering, bonding, sintering, pressfit, welding, ...), as well as basic experience in various analytical methods;
• Independent and structured work, flexibility, ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure;
• Good English skills in speech and writing;
• Enthusiasm for innovative technologies, positive mindset, customer-oriented, entrepreneurial thinking;
