About the role

We are currently seeking a Testing Technician to perform core testing activities within the Testing team. Adhering to Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practice, you will perform routine screening tests within agreed timeframes and defined procedures to aid in the sufficient and safe provision of blood, plasma and biological products.

With safety and quality at the forefront of everything you do, you will escalate any anomalies to ensure the required regulatory requirements are met and product safety is maintained.

  • Experience performing routine and repetitive tasks in a laboratory
  • Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • A standout team player who works well in a team environment to achieve shared goals
  • Experience in a scientific laboratory would be advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and twist to operate different platforms

Our laboratory in Sydney operates Monday to Sunday between(5:00 AM to 2:00AM), including public holidays and there is an operational requirement to work varied shifts on a rotating roster between early morning shifts (5am) & evening shift (up to 2am) on Mondays and Saturdays & other days as required.

Training for Testing team runs Monday to Friday, with at least four days of attendance requirement.
