Team Testing Services islooking for a Testing Services Consultanttojoin the SimCorp office in Italy(Milano/Pistoia/Trieste).
Testing Services Consultantsare experienced professionals who play a critical role in safeguarding and improving the quality of SimCorp client solutions by delivering structured, high-qualitytesting services andbest practicetesting approaches across SimCorp Dimension and related platforms.Their work directly supports earlierdefectdetection, increased test coverage, and higher levels of test automation. By applying standard testing frameworks,leveragingautomation where possible, andmaintainingdeep knowledge ofclient specificbusiness flows,theyhelp reduce risk during releases, improveend-userexperience, and strengthen overall client confidence inSimCorp’ssolutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Analyzing and clarifying complex business and functional requirements to ensure shared understanding of scope, risks, and quality expectations
Designing, executing, andmaintainingtest scenarios and test cases aligned with business needs
Engaging with customers and stakeholders through meetings on requirements, testing approach, progress, and outcomes
Documenting and presenting test results, defects, and quality risks in a clear and structured way
Supporting incident and defect management through analysis, documentation, and reporting to enabletimelyresolution and continuous improvement
WHAT WE VALUE
Educational background in STEM or Finance
Financial knowledge in investment banking and accounting
Know-howin at least one of the following areas: Front Office, Back Office, Accountingprocessesor Financial Transaction Workflows
3+ years of experience in software testing or a comparable background
Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell also welcome) or strong tech‑savviness
Experience in creating test automation scripts and scenarios is highly welcome
Experience in usage of versioning control (GitAzure DevOps or similar)
Hands-on experience working within Agile methodology
Strong analytical approach and attention to detail
Solution‑oriented problem‑solving
Proven ability to ensure high client satisfaction
Effective under time pressure
Team player eager to share knowledge
Collaborative mindset with focus on growth
Clear communication and consulting skills
Fluency in English (min. B2+ or C1)
