Job Title: Testing Commissioning & Warranty Technician

Hitachi Rail is a fully integrated, global provider of transport solutions across rolling stock, signaling services and turnkey.
This position is part of the Propulsion, APS, and TCMS supply for the MRS1 project in Mumbai. The candidate will be primarily based at the Mumbai depot but may be required to report to the BEML factory in Bangalore as per project needs. The T&C, Warranty Technician reports to the T&C Engineer/Warranty Manager and supports the team throughout the project lifecycle.
The T&C, Warranty Technician is responsible for supporting all Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and Warranty activities at the depot or factory. Responsibilities include testing, installation/removal, and troubleshooting whether performed at the factory or at customer premises. To fulfill these duties, the T&C, Warranty Technician will work in close coordination with T&C Engineers.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing day-to-day warranty and commissioning activities at the site.
Provide necessary test, commissioning, and warranty support to T&C Engineers.
Perform fault investigations and repair failures in collaboration with T&C Engineers as soon as they occur.
Execute modification programs at the site under the guidance of T&C Engineers.
Comply with site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) procedures.
Flexible to work night shifts.
Skills:
Knowledge of Propulsion, APS, TCMS components.
Teamwork, verbal and basic written communication skills.
Willingness to work night shifts.
Experience in executing Rolling stock T&C activities, especially related to Propulsion systems.
Experience in working with Japanese companies is an added advantage.
Knowledge on using Word, and Excel.
Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in rolling stock, specifically in T&C activities related to propulsion, APS and TCMS.
Education: ITI in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical.
