The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Testing and Evaluation Senior Engineer to join our Advisory Services team in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). In this key role, you will lead test coordination efforts for complex laboratory and live test events, serving as a critical liaison between Navy, DoD stakeholders, and internal teams. You will ensure seamless planning, execution, and post-test analysis while upholding the highest standards of mission success.

This is a high-impact position for a detail-oriented leader with strong Navy or DoD operational experience who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Navy and other DoD stakeholders to prepare, coordinate, and execute plans and schedules for live DTRA test events
  • Schedule and lead test coordination meetings while developing and championing comprehensive test strategies and timelines
  • Review test plans and serve as a liaison with Navy and government organizations to secure test event scheduling
  • Provide logistical coordination and technical interface with customer and partner organizations, including Major Programs, Operations, Engineering, Readiness, and Configuration Management
  • Collaborate with site Test Directors to ensure all requirements, resources, and assets are in place to achieve mission objectives
  • Coordinate post-test analysis, capture and distribute lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement for future missions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of experience implementing projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Proven military experience (Navy preferred) in leadership and coordination of assets and services for technical operations and missions.
  • Strong background in managing, organizing, and controlling project activities, including document generation/updates, monitoring, and distribution.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain one)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience coordinating mission events in a live Navy operations environment.
  • Background in Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E).
  • Experience supporting AEGIS ships or Land-Based Test Sites.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project (or similar project management tools).
