Be working as part of a team delivering testing and commissioning for the Tangara Fleet Life Extension program, ensuring modified rolling stock meets project, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
You’ll lead testing and commissioning activities and a team of technical specialists, balancing safety, quality and delivery against challenging project schedules.
You’ll drive continuous improvement in testing practices, safety and productivity, while building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering safe, compliant and effective outcomes.
This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for up to 23 months, based on-site in Flemington, NSW. The role involves shift work and, due to its operational nature, requires an on-site presence. As such, hybrid working arrangements are not available.

Your engineering, testing and commissioning expertise formed across rolling stock or complex rail projects will see you confidently lead delivery in a safety-critical operational environment.
You’re recognised as a collaborative and decisive leader, skilled at developing technical teams, navigating competing priorities and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You’ve got extensive rolling stock testing and commissioning experience and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification. You can apply sound judgement, risk management and technical expertise to deliver safe and compliant outcomes.
