This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tester Sênior based in Brazil.
This is a senior software testing opportunity focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and readiness of digital solutions.
You will play a key role throughout sprint cycles, from test planning and scenario mapping to execution and validation.
The position involves close collaboration with development teams, helping identify issues early and supporting high-quality deliveries.
You will also be responsible for producing clear test evidence and documentation to provide visibility into quality and results.
A key part of the role is supporting business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
You will work in an agile environment where collaboration, communication, prioritization, and responsiveness are essential.
This is a fully remote, five-month PJ engagement suited to an experienced tester who takes ownership of quality and enjoys working across technical and business teams.
Accountabilities:
- Plan and execute software testing activities throughout sprint cycles, participating in sprint planning and aligning testing priorities with delivery objectives.
- Map test scenarios and define appropriate approaches to validate functional requirements and solution behavior.
- Execute functional tests and comprehensive end-to-end testing of digital solutions.
- Identify, document, and communicate defects and quality risks, collaborating closely with development teams to support resolution.
- Generate, organize, and maintain detailed evidence of test execution and results.
- Support development teams throughout the testing lifecycle by clarifying scenarios, validating fixes, and contributing to quality improvements.
- Participate in agile/Scrum ceremonies and closely monitor sprint progress to ensure testing activities remain aligned with delivery timelines.
- Support business stakeholders throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT), helping coordinate validations and addressing questions or issues that arise.
- Communicate test status, findings, risks, and priorities clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
- Apply a strong sense of urgency and prioritization to ensure critical quality issues are addressed effectively.
Requirements:
- Solid professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proven experience planning and executing tests within agile sprint cycles.
- Experience with functional testing and comprehensive testing of software solutions.
- Experience creating, organizing, and documenting test evidence.
- Previous experience working in agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint activities.
- Practical experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and supporting business teams during validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with developers, business stakeholders, and other team members.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate issues and take initiative.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize activities according to business and delivery impact.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with distributed teams.
