Job Summary

The Manual Testing Engineer is responsible for executing software testing processes to ensure that applications meet quality standards and client requirements. This role is essential for identifying defects and ensuring functionality as outlined in test plans, contributing to the overall success of software deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute Manual Test Cases To Verify The Functionality Of Applications Based On The Test Plan And Respective Test Cases.
2. Update The Test Case Execution Status In The Tracking System And Log Defects In A Clear And Concise Manner.
3. Collaborate With Team Members For Discussions On Testing Strategies And Communicate Updates To Clients Regarding Testing Progress.
4. Assist In The Creation Of Test Cases By Analyzing Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specification Documents To Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Manual Testing Processes And Methodologies.
2. Familiarity With Test Case Design And Execution.
3. Basic Knowledge In Defect Tracking Tools And Systems.
4. Fundamental Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc) Principles.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable: Istqb Foundation Level Certification.
