What you will be doing:
Testing software applications, ensuring adherence to specified functionality, usability, and performance requirements.
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of software features and requirements.
Produce and maintain extensive test documentation and reports.
Pinpoint, document, and monitor software defects, followed by bug verification.
Implement automated test cases for the regression team and address any resulting inquiries.
Participate in Scrum sessions and contribute to the overall quality of the development process.
Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements.
What our client is looking for:
A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal (e.g., Information Technology).
3 - 5 years of experience in software testing, in both manual and automated testing.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools, along with familiarity with Agile and Scrum.
Knowledge of version control and bug tracking systems. Experience with ERP/POS/GL systems is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
