SUMARY OF JOB

The Tester a part of ongoing day to day final testing of the UPS systems. You are responsible for the functionality and quality of the systems according to information provided by the engineering department and IEC or equivalent standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to test, calibrate and trouble shoot the UPS systems according to the given test procedures, test reports and process and prepare the test reports accordingly.

• Responsible to participate in QA, Safety and Gutor Production System activities.

• Responsible for the safety of the people under your custody (customers, inspectors, visitors, trainees etc..)

• Close cooperation with all the departments.

• Hand over meetings with the project engineers.

• Do small modification of the system when its required.

• Make all necessary corrections in the green and blue binders.

• Responsible for your own tools and the measuring equipments.

SECONDARY

• Assistance in complying with the safety rules in the test bay.

• Perform special tests on single component, assembly groups or the system according to the given instructions from engineering, R&D or Standardization.

• Other jobs as instructed by the superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with more than 5 years experience.

• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in switchgear / UPS commissioning or testing.

• Possess good communication & analytical skills

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision

• High Level of trouble shooting skills.

• Good verbal and written knowledge in English.

• MS-Office computer skills.

• Excellent Communication Skills

• High degree of flexibility

• Knowledge of the hazards and risk associated with the electricity.
