We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with telecommunication products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Engineering with prototype development and testing activities.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair prototype units and returned products.
  • Perform product testing and accurately record test results.
  • Analyze testing data to verify compliance with quality and performance standards.
  • Organize, maintain, and track laboratory equipment, tools, and test assets.
  • Use test results to identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
  • Train and support test operators on testing procedures and equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting production test stations.
  • Follow established testing procedures and documentation requirements.

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent military training and experience in electronic technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Working knowledge of digital electronics, including microprocessors, logic gates, multiplexers, and decoders.
  • Familiarity with analog circuitry, including operational amplifiers, filters, discrete MOSFETs, and power regulation circuits.
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently and within established time standards.
  • Demonstrated reliability, initiative, accountability, and strong attendance record.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position is onsite Monday - Friday in our Newark, CA office (relocation is not supported)

This is a temporary position intended to support current operational needs. Based on individual performance, business requirements, and organizational growth, there may be an opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position in the future.

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is listed below. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, specific location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Regular employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), sales incentive(s) (target included in OTE) and/or stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
