We are looking for a Test Professional

You’ll make a difference by:

• We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, the ability to understand business and system requirements, and experience in designing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test cases. The candidate should be comfortable working in Linux environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and understand business, functional, and system requirements.
• Review requirements and provide feedback to ensure testability and completeness.
• Create detailed test specifications, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test reports.
• Execute manual and/or automated test cases and document test results.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through closure.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards and business expectations.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proven experience in requirement analysis and understanding complex system workflows.
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test specifications and test cases.
• Strong experience in test execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, including basic command-line operations and log analysis.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience of AI tools and Copilot
• Preferred Skills
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with JIRA, Polarion, Sharepoint and video recording tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in distributed or enterprise-scale applications.
