YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a hands-on Test Manager to drive both the strategic and operational aspects of quality assurance across our applications. This hybrid role combines test leadership, test management, and active participation in test analysis, design, and execution.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable defining QA strategy and rolling up their sleeves to support day-to-day testing activities, ensuring high-quality software delivery across projects.

Test Analysis, Design & Execution

• Act as the primary point of ownership for test analysis, test design, and test execution activities.

• Design high-quality test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure comprehensive functional and non-functional coverage.

• Execute and coordinate test cycles, ensuring defects are accurately identified, documented, prioritized, and followed through to resolution.

• Perform hands-on testing activities where required, including exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Ensure consistent and high-quality validation of applications through both direct contribution and leadership.

Test Strategy & Quality Delivery

• Define, implement, and continuously improve testing strategies, processes, standards, and best practices.

• Contribute to the development of scalable QA approaches, including test automation and risk-based testing methodologies.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor testing activities to meet project timelines, quality objectives, and delivery commitments.

• Collaborate closely with development, product, and delivery teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software lifecycle.

• Support release readiness assessments and quality reporting.

Automation & Tooling

• Contribute to and support automated testing initiatives using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Promote effective use of modern testing tools, frameworks, and CI/CD quality practices.

• Help define automation priorities and maintain sustainable automated test coverage.

Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement

• Serve as the primary QA contact for internal teams and client stakeholders.

• Provide clear communication on testing progress, quality risks, and mitigation plans.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement sustainable quality improvements.

• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a quality-first mindset and modern testing culture.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience in a hybrid Test Lead, Test Manager, or Senior Test Engineer role with strong hands-on involvement.

• Strong expertise in test analysis, test design, and test execution methodologies.

• Experience with test automation using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, QA processes, and defect management practices.

• Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple stakeholders and teams.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery responsibilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

• Experience with API testing and integration testing tools.

• Exposure to performance or security testing practices.
