ABOUT THIS JOB

Coming from a monolithic application landscape as baseline, Telekom Deutschland already made good progress in selected Greenfield areas like Fiber (“Gigabit Geschäftssystem”) and on decoupling the legacy backend landscape from fast-moving touchpoints with a basic set of German E-APIs. While the foundation of the transition is being laid, the need to accelerate and scale up these initiatives has become obvious to leverage the beforementioned advantages for the business.

We in the Magenta Products and Platforms program are looking for an E2E QA manager (agile) to support us. In this role, you will help us fulfill the following.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Lead an E2E QA efforts for one or several high-stake projects across the MPP organisation
• Assure quality of the solution by taking into consideration current business priority
• Create and maintain an E2E QA strategy for a solution which may involve several applications all over our organization, or for a project, considering all the different test levels from unit testing to the user acceptance test
• Align with stakeholders on the demands, scope and due dates of the project and support timely delivery
• Establish governance to make sure all the necessary QA measures are conducted and desired quality achieved for production delivery
• Incorporate test automation into the test concept as part of the overall QA strategy
• Manage all test activities from the initial analysis up to solution launch.
• Strongly collaborate with scrum teams, E2E test teams, Solution Management and other stakeholders;
• Provide direction and guidance for improvements of test process and establishing new approaches;
• Identify potential risks in the QA process and proactively mitigate them to ensure seamless project delivery

All the achievements you are proud of:

• 7+ years of practical experience as a Test Manager, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects
• Expertise in stakeholder management at the SVP level, managing multiple business and IT stakeholders across various geographical locations
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing an overarching E2E test strategy for multipurpose, multitechnology, multiprocess environments
• Extensive experience in agile multi-team setups within large, complex application landscapes
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset, ensuring that solutions meet business needs
• Demonstrated experience in driving cultural change towards a Lean-Agile mindset and fostering a collaborative DevOps environment
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of the telecommunication business domain
• Proficiency in German
• In-depth understanding of modern technologies, including cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and API management
