Job Summary

As a Test Lead specializing in Embedded Device Testing, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, and managing the testing efforts for embedded systems projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that all testing activities align with client and internal requirements while adhering to the highest quality standards. You will lead discussions with stakeholders, oversee the development of automated testing processes, and mentor the QA team to enhance their capabilities and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Prepare Automated Test Scripts For Embedded Devices, Ensuring The Maintenance Of An Up-To-Date Test Case Suite And Test Environments.
2. Develop And Continuously Improve Automated Tests In Python For Embedded Systems As New Features And Enhancements Are Introduced, Creating Comprehensive Work Plans And Closely Monitoring Progress For Timely Delivery While Meeting Defined Quality Standards.
3. Design And Implement Scalable Test Automation Frameworks Using Python, Develop Test Strategies And Plans, Maintain Accurate Test Data, And Generate Status Reports To Minimize Project Risks And Manage Escalations Effectively.
4. Mentor And Guide Qa Engineers In Leveraging The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Skills In Embedded Device Testing, And Improving Overall Team Productivity Through Knowledge Sharing And Support.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Embedded Device Testing Methodologies And Best Practices.
2. Proficiency In Python Programming For Test Automation.
3. Solid Experience With Test Strategy Development And Implementation In Embedded Systems.
4. Familiarity With Automated Testing Tools And Frameworks Relevant To Embedded Device Testing.
5. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Facilitate Discussions With Stakeholders.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Certified Tester, Certified Agile Tester (Cat), Or Relevant Training In Embedded Systems Testing.
