Role Overview

The Test Lead is responsible for defining, leading, and
continuously improving testing strategies across enterprise‑scale systems. This
role acts as a quality advocate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC), embedding testing and quality practices early and consistently to
ensure reliable, secure, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead
  the design and development of comprehensive test strategies, plans,
  scenarios, scripts, and procedures
• 
  Act
  as a quality advocate across the full SDLC, promoting shift‑left testing
  practices
• 
  Architect,
  build, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, database)
  using industry‑standard tools
• 
  Define
  and manage test data strategies, including generation, provisioning, and
  anonymization
• 
  Mentor
  and coach QA team members, fostering continuous learning and quality
  excellence
• 
  Identify,
  assess, and mitigate quality risks throughout the project lifecycle
• 
  Integrate
  security testing practices aligned with compliance and best practices
• 
  Design
  and implement testing methodologies for distributed systems

Skills & Experience

Core Skills and Experience (40%)

• 
  10+
  years of experience in enterprise‑level software testing
• 
  Hands‑on
  experience with manual and automated testing
• 
  Strong
  understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• 
  Extensive
  experience with AODA testing and compliance
• 
  Expertise
  in test strategy development, test case creation, and reporting
• 
  Experience
  with automation tools such as Selenium and Postman
• 
  Performance
  testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• 
  Defect
  management using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• 
  End‑to‑end
  testing of complex systems, including non‑functional requirements
• 
  Knowledge
  of QA compliance standards and security testing

Technical Skills and Experience (35%)

  Strong
  database knowledge (SQL, Oracle)

  Experience
  with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• 
  Knowledge
  of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or GitLab
