Job Description
Independently execute frontline test and equipment support to detect, contain, troubleshoot, repair, and verify simple-to-moderate equipment issues while maintaining safety, quality, equipment availability, and disciplined escalation to B3 or Engineering.
- Execute equipment setup, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, calibration support, and frontline technical response in accordance with approved standards.
- Detect and contain equipment alarms, failures, test abnormalities, and out-of-specification conditions using defined OCAP and escalation criteria.
- Troubleshoot and resolve simple-to-moderate mechanical, electrical, test, or equipment issues using instrumentation, manuals, data, and established methods.
- Verify equipment recovery, test performance, and safe operating condition following repair, adjustment, maintenance, or containment.
- Perform and document PM, calibration support, equipment checks, repairs, spare-parts replacement, and maintenance history.
- Support equipment qualification, buy-off, engineering trials, installations, and controlled changes under Engineering direction.
- Collect and review downtime, failure, alarm, and maintenance data to support RCA, reliability, OEE, MTBF, and improvement activities.
- Execute approved corrective actions and support updates to OCAP, troubleshooting guides, PM standards, and technical documentation.
- Use equipment-health dashboards, automated workflows, digital knowledge systems, and approved AI-assisted troubleshooting resources.
- Escalate recurring, complex, systemic, or specification-changing issues to B3/P2 with clear evidence and troubleshooting history.
Qualifications: Technical/Vocational diploma or Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Computer Technology, or a related technical discipline. Relevant equipment or technical certifications are preferred.
