Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful verification, integration, and validation of our signalling platforms, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and safe systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the Signalling team, Product Architects, and Safety Assurance Managers), define and execute V&V strategies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the V&V activities for software, product, and system programs, but also ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
We’ll look to you for:
Defining the Program Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan to ensure design requirements and intended use cases are met
Ensuring the application and adherence to reference processes, methods, and tools
Organizing and leading document verification and reviews
Managing full verification and validation of the equipment under test
Monitoring and following up on activities delegated to experts in other departments
Defining needs, architecture, and following up on the implementation of test benches and analysis tools
Representing Alstom in front of customers or partners to provide updates on test progress, issues, risks, and opportunities
Managing and ensuring deliverables from the Program Verification & Validation team
Selecting and managing subcontractors
Managing work packages or WP tasks

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in relevant positions (e.g., systems/sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development) in a highly complex and normative environment such as railway signalling
Engineering and system background
Knowledge of more than one V&V domain
Good analytical skills and experience in test and integration, or alternatively, system engineering or safety assurance
Knowledge of at least one ADM domain (hardware, software, product, or system) V&V methodology
Strong communication and organizational skills
