Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is seeking a hands-on Pilot Line Engineer to join our Chicago (Deer Park) engineering team, focused on early ‑phase engineering bring ‑up and validation of ETS (Eagle Test Systems) platforms. This role is critical during Phase 2–Phase 3 development, where engineering prototypes transition toward stable, manufacturable hardware.
The ideal candidate is someone who is deeply technical, execution ‑oriented, comfortable working at the bench, and effective collaborating directly with design engineering during bring ‑up and debug.
This is not a sustaining or purely documentation role. It is a factory ‑floor, lab ‑intensive engineering position requiring strong electronics fundamentals, ATE familiarity, and the ability to debug systems down to board and component level.
