We are looking for a Test Engineer for one of our clients in Gothenburg. As part of the Alarm & Tailgate team, you will plan and execute verification and validation of Tailgate functions. You will write test cases and scripts for both automation and manual testing, perform fault tracing, analyze logs, and ensure all administrative work is fulfilled and up to date.
Participate in test system flow definition — including test activities, equipment, and DUT (Device Under Test) preparedness together with requirement owners and suppliers
Perform component, domain, and complete verification in Rig, Boxcar, HIL, and on vehicle
Develop test methods and test cases in Carweaver and vTestStudio
Write, plan, and coordinate test activities and test cases
Create fault reports and participate in investigation and resolution with function or system owners
Review and communicate suppliers' test reports and results
Independently fault trace and take logs and measurements on components, actuators, and signals
Develop automation scripts and push to CI
Ensure work is delivered as per specified acceptance criteria and definition
Must-Have Requirements:
Swedish B driver's license (mandatory)
Experience in the automotive industry
Experience in automated verification of system design and software
Knowledge of electrical schematics and use of instruments such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes
Experience with test automation tools such as VT System and vTestStudio
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar
Proficient in both Swedish and English (spoken and written)
