NOV Subsea Production Systems (NOV SPS) invites you to join our Product Engineering & Methodology (PEM) department as a Test Engineer. Our team designs and manufactures flexible pipes for the offshore oil and gas industry, and your role is crucial in ensuring these products meet the highest standards. You'll be based in our main location Brøndby , where you'll conduct mid and/or full-scale tests to qualify our products and validate our methodologies, ensuring they can withstand harsh environments for up to 30 years.

About the Role

• Oversee safety and quality, conducting risk analyses and ensuring compliance with international standards and customer requirements.
• Define and follow ITPs and procedures, and conduct calibration of equipment.
• Manage the preparation, execution, data analysis, and reporting of mid and full-scale tests.
• Coordinate work based on available resources and contribute to continuous improvement by implementing new testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with Project Management, New Product Development (NPD), Technology, and Engineering Departments to define test methodologies and procedures.
• Interpret the behavior of flexible pipe structures based on measurements and your understanding of strength theory and solid mechanics.

• Engineering degree (general, mechanical, or marine).
• Good knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and data analysis, with basic knowledge of high-pressure systems.
• Good understanding of strength theory and solid mechanics.
• Ability to grasp and handle complex problems, and proficiency in documenting procedures and reports.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in testing and data analysis.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, as it is our corporate language.
• Strong communication skills and a results-driven, persistent, and structured approach to work.
• Enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry or a related field is an advantage.
