Job Description


As a Test Engineer, you will:

  • Define comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and testing approaches to support successful project delivery.

  • Manage end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, execution, monitoring, defect tracking, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with business users, product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

  • Lead migration testing activities, including planning, execution, data validation, risk assessment, and defect management.

  • Drive quality initiatives by implementing structured testing methodologies and ensuring seamless system transitions.

  • Support Agile ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

  • Leverage test automation practices to improve efficiency, reliability, and test coverage.

What You Bring to the Table
:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Test Engineer with strong expertise in software testing and quality assurance.

  • Extensive experience in defining test strategies, creating detailed test plans, and managing complex testing activities.

  • Proven experience in migration testing, including data validation, risk identification, execution, and defect resolution.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile delivery environments.

  • Experience with test automation concepts and practices.

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including business teams, product owners, and technical teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Design and implement effective testing strategies aligned with project goals.

  • Plan, execute, and manage testing activities across the complete software delivery lifecycle.

  • Identify testing risks, assess impacts, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Validate data accuracy and system functionality during migration and transition activities.

  • Manage defects effectively by coordinating with relevant teams and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Communicate testing progress, issues, risks, and quality metrics clearly to stakeholders.

  • Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on quality and delivery outcomes.
