Job Description


As a Test Engineer - Banking Domain, you will:

  • Prepare, execute, and manage functional and non-functional testing activities across enterprise applications.

  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.

  • Perform test execution, defect tracking, validation, and reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile multidisciplinary teams.

  • Support test automation initiatives and contribute to improving automated testing coverage.

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Validate business and technical requirements within banking and commercial banking applications.

  • Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and delivery goals.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and testing standards.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 6–8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Banking or Commercial Banking domain.

  • Strong hands-on experience in test preparation, execution, defect management, and reporting.

  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies, QA lifecycle, and best practices.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Affinity toward test automation and automated testing practices.

  • TMAP and/or ISTQB certification is an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced project environments.

You Should Possess the Ability to:

  • Execute comprehensive testing activities with high attention to detail and quality.

  • Collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements and Agile delivery environments.

  • Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous testing improvements.

  • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely delivery of testing activities.

  • Deliver accurate reporting and maintain strong documentation practices.
