The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring engines meet all test requires, for resolving test stand issues, and data acquisition. Individuals must be able to successfully communicate with others to meet all program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and troubleshoot engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), including related hardware and software.
  •  Analyze and track engine and APU performance data to confirm compliance with established performance criteria and test procedures.
  •  Coordinate with external engineering teams to address and resolve issues discovered during testing.
  •  Communicate updates, instructions, and requirements from model managers, test integration leads, and test management to operators and inspectors.
  •  Document PTE recommendations resulting from engine tests and relay necessary information to operations and quality teams.
  •  Build proficiency in internal processes, such as evaluating test data, using data acquisition systems, and interpreting compliance or customer requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, or related field with 5+ years of engine/test cell/powerplant experience, or a relevant advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of engine or APU system operations, special test equipment, and test‑cell environments.
  • Hands‑on experience in engine or APU testing, flight‑line operations, and/or engine shop maintenance

Salary Range: $95,000 - $118,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
