The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test planning, automation testing, quality assurance processes, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and understand business and technical requirements.
- Perform feasibility analysis and define appropriate testing strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks.
- Lead automation testing activities across web, mobile, and API applications.
- Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing as required.
- Conduct database validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Track, prioritise, and manage defects through their complete lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Establish and monitor quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
- Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance on testing methodologies and automation.
Desired Skills / Background
- B.Tech, B.E., MCA, M.Tech, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Internationally recognised OEM certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience in automation testing and automation framework design.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong understanding of database validation and SQL queries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead testing activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
