
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Evaluate new test technologies and methods.
2. Determine Design for Test (DFT) specifications and coordinate with engineering staff on new product design.
3. Design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing products that meet corporate objectives.
4. Train production testing staff in function, design, and maintenance of all testing processes on the production floor.
5. Gather and analyze test data to improve test coverage and efficiencies.
6. Follow SEL Values.
7. Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
8. Understand. Create. Simplify.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
BSEE or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years experience designing and developing production tests
Excellent writing and speaking skills
Experience with applicable programming languages
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in team environment
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in electronic design, manufacturing and testing
Skill in design and construction of test fixtures
Experience in writing test procedures and test documentation

Pay Range Data
We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Pay range for the Test Engineer position is $97,700 -$144,400 per year. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
