The Test Engineer plays a critical role in validating the performance, durability, and safety of SuperATV’s ATV/UTV aftermarket products. This position is 70% hands-on testing and 30% analysis/documentation, focusing on both lab-based validation and field testing under extreme conditions The engineer will design and execute test plans, set up and monitor instrumentation, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure our parts withstand the toughest demands of off-road riding.

Primary Duties

  • Analyze product features and creating test procedures and parameters to accurately represent real world conditions
  • Create a standard for how we test products throughout all of SuperATV categories
  • Design fixturing for testing in a lab-based setting
  • Analyze resulting data and form conclusions based on that data
  • Compile results, identify failure mode, and present data in a formal report
  • Work to develop new testing methods to increase testing accuracy and repeatability
  • Organize and lead development activity in conjunction with engineers and project leaders
  • Be a field service problem solver to quickly find solutions as problems arise on new or existing products
  • Communicate professionally, maintain action register, and drive project to a timely completion

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates have familiarity with metal fabrication and machining.
  • Qualified candidates are capable of reading blueprints, creating components in CAD, and understanding proper testing techniques and procedures.
  • Must be familiar with instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis.
  • Candidates need basic computer skills, using word and excel and be proficient with SolidWorks CAD software.

Education / Experience

  • A degree in a related field is required.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
