Test Engineer

Location: On-site, Fort Meade, MD

Clearance TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) REQUIRED

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to support mission-critical programs at Fort Meade. This role requires a technical professional experienced in systems engineering, software testing, cybersecurity validation, and documentation within highly secure environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in system integration, test planning, automation, and DoD-compliant system evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and oversee comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases

• Conduct and coordinate unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing

• Evaluate software performance, scalability, reliability, and stability against operational requirements

• Verify compliance with functional and non-functional requirements, including security, usability, and accessibility

• Validate software capabilities through user acceptance testing and stakeholder feedback

• Identify, document, and track defects and discrepancies, and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes

• Develop and maintain test environments, including test data, scripts, and tools

• Conduct testing across multiple environments, including development, staging, and production

• Test software across diverse hardware, operating systems, software versions, and configurations

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine testing objectives, scope, and priorities

• Provide testing results, analysis, and recommendations to technical and operational stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, verification and validation processes, and quality assurance practices

• Experience designing and executing tests for complex, distributed, or mission-critical systems

• Ability to lead testing efforts and coordinate across development and program teams

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

• DoD Manual 8140.03 (DoDM 8140.03) baseline certification required for the assigned role category

• Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph required

• Onsite-only position requiring daily work in a secure facility
