The Opportunity

This position is located in Bogotá, Colombia.

As the Test Automation Tool SME you will serve as the process support to multiple end users of the TAP toolset consisting of OpenText Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Tricentis Tosca as well as other integrated tools (e.g., Jira, Selenium, Playwright).

What You’ll Do

  • Top level technical expert supporting multiple end user groups (i.e., IT Delivery teams, SQA).

  • Work with user groups to identify and solve business problems with all available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.

  • Requires broad and deep technical experience related to studying and analyzing systems needs, systems development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering.

  • The Specialist level will have highly developed skills and experience in business management, systems engineering, operations research, and management engineering.

  • Typically requires specialization in multiple software or business applications utilized in an end user environment.

  • Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications and uses that information to proactively initiate enhancements to mitigate against future problems.

  • Will often coach or mentor less senior support professionals.

  • Help tool users to understand and use the tools as they are aligned to the BTS SLC, provide project specific guidance for the tool (e.g. how to structure requirements in ALM) and also provide training (documents as well as instructor led training sessions).

  • Provide ongoing user assistance and troubleshoot issues with the tools and coordinate resolution with the support team as needed.

  • Participate in identifying tool improvement governance and in User Acceptance Testing of tool enhancements.

  • Work closely with the Software Quality team to ensure alignment of the tool functionality with the SLC.

Required Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of SLC / SDLC (System Life Cycle / System Development Lifecycle)

  • Good skills of at least one tool (OpenText ALM, Tricentis Tosca)

  • Past experience with GxP regulations in a Lifesciences company (or equivalent, e.g. Finance industry)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous role in Software Quality Assurance with Computer System Validation

  • B.S. in computer sciences or similar

  • Past experience in at least 2 of the tools (OpenText ALM, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Atlassian Jira) or past very detailed experience in at least one of the tools (OpenText ALM, Tricentis Tosca)
