NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group.

Our objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineerto join our team. Y ou will play a key role in safeguarding the quality of our digital solutions across the Innovative Apps and Reusability teams. These are 2 teams working in the same group of Life & Pensions: IT Services, but with totally different stakeholders.

What are the tasks that you’ll perform?

  • Design, update, and execute Functional Acceptance Tests (FAT) on the TST environment to ensure high‑quality releases.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing the ACC environment and actively supporting business testers.

  • Explore, propose, and implement test automation opportunities where it adds value, supporting more efficient FAT and future regression testing.

  • Creating and maintaining test scenarios and test cases for reusable OutSystems components across the Internal Forge, Live Style Guide, and Design System, including early design consistency checks.

  • Executing functional, regression, and integration testing on front‑end components, APIs, service actions, and shared modules, including validation after releases and UI upgrades.

  • Ensuring design‑to‑implementation consistency and quality standards, covering accessibility, responsive behavior, backward compatibility, and a consistent testing approach within the team.

You will become part of Low-Code group at IT Services, which ensures you of working together with the top developers and tech leads of the OutSystems community at Nationale-Nederlanden. Who You Are:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to clearly document test cases, defects, and outcomes.

  • 8+ years of professional experience.

  • Solid knowledge and hands-on expertise in the insurance sector.

  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, analyzing requirements and translating them into test scenarios and reusable test cases.

  • Hands‑on experience with API testing (Bruno and/or Postman), including REST APIs, JSON payloads, HTTP methods, and integration validation.

  • Proven experience with Playwright test automation, including building and maintaining automated test suites; experience with BDD frameworks is a strong plus.

  • Solid expertise in testing modern web and reusable front‑end components, including responsiveness, accessibility guidelines, and OutSystems‑based platforms.

  • Experience designing and maintaining reusable and regression‑focused test assets, supporting version upgrades of shared components such as Live Style Guide and Forge modules.
