This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and understands the importance of safety, efficiency, and collaboration. You’ll be at the heart of our MACH control system testing—a sophisticated platform built with cutting-edge electronics, fiber-optic communication, and advanced software. Your work will ensure our systems are verified, calibrated, and ready to meet the demands of modern power transmission.
You’ll lead daily operations, manage equipment and inventory, and maintain a safe and organized test environment. You’ll also collaborate with project teams to support commissioning and testing activities, ensuring every system meets our high standards before it reaches the field.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Supervise and maintain order in the test facility
Lead safety inspections and ensure compliance with HSE standards
Manage inventory and calibration of test equipment
Coordinate with project teams to support testing needs
Oversee procurement and availability of consumables
Act as asset manager for IT and lab equipment
Support commissioning and verification of electrical systems
Improve test area processes, instructions, and guidelines
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (default if not specified)
Experience in electrical installations or test areas
Knowledge of electrical risks and risk assessments
Strong focus on health, safety, and environment (HSE)
Experience in commissioning, testing, and system verification
Effective communicator and team collaborator
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
