SSI is seeking a Test and Evaluation Policy SME for a role in Washington, DC.
Role and Responsibilities include:
- Review and assess DoW test-centric policies and provide recommendations to SF/TE leadership.
- Review and assess Test Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP).
- Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
- Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
- Establish strategic relationships within DoW and IC to anticipate problem areas and generate or solicit field inputs to craft Space Force test and evaluation policy.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant DoD/DoW work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in a special access program and/or secret compartmental information environment within the last three years.
- Knowledge of relationships related to the planning/execution/reporting of military test campaigns (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of test and evaluation. Familiarity with relevant government acquisition policies and procedures is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent organizational and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to be innovative and creative and capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner.
- Ability to work autonomously and interface easily with team members and senior leadership.
- General knowledge of the Department of War Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) and policy, procedures, and schedules for developing Program Objectives Memoranda (POM), Budget Estimate Submissions (BES), and Financial Plans in support of major acquisition and test planning.
- General knowledge of Pentagon staffing processes and protocols.
- Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
- Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.
- Travel is 10%.
