Job Description Job Title QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer Role Summary We are looking for a QA Engineer with min 3 years of experience in manual, automation, and API testing for web banking applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Appium, Selenium, Playwright, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with expertise in API validation using Postman, REST Assured, and Swagger. The role requires experience in test planning, execution, defect tracking, CI/CD integration, cross-browser testing, mobile application testing, and working in Agile/Scrum environments. Key Responsibilities •Perform manual testing activities including test planning, test execution, defect logging, and defect tracking. •Execute smoke, sanity, regression, and functional testing across application releases. •Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile automation scripts using Appium, Selenium, Core Java, and TestNG. •Design and implement web automation solutions using Playwright with JavaScript and TypeScript. •Build scalable automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reliability. •Perform API testing for web and banking applications using Postman and REST Assured. •Validate API requests, responses, and backend service behavior using Swagger for data validation and mapping. •Execute end-to-end automation for banking web applications. •Run cross-browser automation across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. •Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. •Use trace viewer, screenshots, and video recordings for debugging and test reporting. •Conduct manual testing on iOS and Android applications. •Perform backend data verification using SQL-based validation. •Validate telemetry and event logging through Firebase Crashlytics. •Document test results clearly to support traceability and stakeholder communication
