Job Description

Location:Temporary Work From Home and will transition to hybrid once an office location is identified in BGC, Taguig

Working hours / Job Type:

Monday to Friday, flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM Manila time, with a requirement of 8 working hours per day, excluding lunch break.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Review existing testing processes, frameworks, and tools to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements, both initially and as part of ongoing continuous improvement

· Design, write, and execute automated tests to ensure robust system validation

· Maximize test coverage, focusing particularly on the most critical features of our systems

· Determine priorities for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement them effectively

· Develop documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases

· Manage defects and generate test reports

· Support the business during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production phases

Verification Testing:

· Collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members

· Understand the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and escalate issues that may impact successful customer outcomes

· Identify or create test data to support the execution of test scenarios

· Contribute to continuous product improvement and innovation

· Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tester

· Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

· Experience developing test automation frameworks in an agile environment

· With a strong background in software development and engineering

· Hands-on experience with Test Automation tools

· Proficient with testing tools such as Cypress

· Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines for test automation

· Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket

· Proven track record of working collaboratively in a team

· Comfortable working in squads and able to hit the ground running

Personal Skills:

· Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines

· Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to identify improvements and suggest them to a team

Advantageous or Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:

· Testing experience with AI systems

· Exposure to chatbot testing

· Familiarity with non-functional testing

· Finance background
