DUTIES / RESPONSI BI LITIES This posit ion is an e ntry level in the test technician & activation job fam ily Under close supervision, performs routine t est technician d uties in the support of higher level Test Specialists
• Works from schematics, diagram s, writ ten and ve rbal descriptions, la youts or defined plans to perf orm routine testing, check out, and t roubl e-sho oting f unctions of a sim ple nature
• Perf orms rout ine operat ional t est and fault isolation on s ys tems and equipm ent to ensure conf orm ance with f inal product specif ications
• Utilizes routine m anufacturing t est or diagnost ic equipm ent specific to t he product
• May perf orm lim it ed design act ivities in suppo rt of test equipment procedu res develo pm ent
• A ssign ed to act ivit ies such as prod uction, test, system checkouts, quality cont rol.
• Conducts def ined tests and c ollects data as ass igned
• Diagnos es and isolat es m alfunctions down to the com ponent level
QUALI FICATI ONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

TRAVEL:
This position will require repair efforts in various offsite locations and will be required to travel to customer sites to support work on vessels if deemed necessary in the scope of your position responsibilities. The potential for offsite travel can potentially be in excess of 15-25%. Some overseas travel is possible although NO TRAVEL to declared warzones is anticipated.
