You're Not Selling a Product. You're Solving a Problem.

Think about it this way: every construction crew, farm, factory, and fleet in the Central Valley runs on hydraulics. And when a hydraulic hose blows — and they do blow — everything stops. Lost hours. Lost money. Frustrated operators. The customer doesn't need a brochure. They need someone they trust to have their back before it happens again.

That's where you come in.

As PIRTEK Stockton's Territory Sales Representative, you're the face of a brand built on speed, reliability, and trust. You're out in the field every day — meeting new prospects, deepening relationships with existing customers, and making sure that when something goes wrong in your territory, PIRTEK is the first call they make. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves people, thrives on the hunt, and gets real satisfaction from building something.

No hydraulic experience required. Seriously — we'll train you on everything technical. What we can't teach is drive, hustle, and the ability to build a room full of strangers into a loyal customer base. That part needs to come from you.

About PIRTEK Stockton

PIRTEK is the nation's leading provider of on-site hydraulic and industrial hose assembly and replacement — operating 24/7/365 with a 1-hour emergency response promise. When a machine goes down, we show up fast, fix it on the spot, and get people back to work. That's a promise our customers count on.

PIRTEK Stockton is a locally owned and operated franchise serving the greater Stockton area and the Central Valley. We're building our presence here — and that means the sales rep who joins us now gets to help define what PIRTEK means in this market. That's not a small thing.

Our values shape how we work:

  • People — We invest in each other. Your success is our success.
  • Integrity — We do what we say — with customers, and with each other.
  • Real — Straight talk, always. No spin, no fluff.
  • Teamwork — You're backed by a team that wants you to win.
  • Excellence — We raise the bar constantly — and we celebrate when you clear it.
  • Kaizen — We're always improving. Curiosity and growth are core to who we are.

The Role — Hunter, Farmer, Brand Ambassador

This isn't a one-dimensional sales job. You'll be doing three things at once — and doing all three well is what separates good reps from great ones.

Hunter — Build the customer base:

You'll be prospecting daily — cold calls, in-person visits, referrals, leads. The Central Valley is full of potential customers who don't know PIRTEK yet. That changes because of you.

Farmer — Grow what's already there:

Existing customers are an untapped goldmine. You'll maintain those relationships, uncover new needs, introduce additional service lines, and make sure PIRTEK stays top of mind — not just when something breaks.

Brand Ambassador — Make PIRTEK visible:

In a market we're growing, visibility matters. You'll attend trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings — proudly representing PIRTEK and building a reputation that opens doors before you even knock.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct daily outreach — in-person visits, phone calls, and emails — to generate new business and advance existing opportunities
  • Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan that maps your market and tracks your progress
  • Identify customer needs and proactively introduce relevant PIRTEK service offerings to grow account value
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing accounts to grow wallet share and surface new needs
  • Follow up on completed service calls to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage Google reviews
  • Attend local trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings to build brand presence
  • Document all sales activity accurately in our CRM — contacts, visits, outcomes, pipeline
  • Collaborate with the shop team and field technicians to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals set in partnership with management
  • Represent PIRTEK professionally at all times — in person, on the phone, and in the community

What You Bring to the Table

We're looking for someone with real sales instincts and the work ethic to back them up. Here's what that looks like:

  • 1–3+ years of B2B or outside sales experience — you know how to open a door and close a deal
  • Natural relationship builder — people trust you quickly and want to keep doing business with you
  • Self-starter who manages their own time, territory, and pipeline without needing to be managed
  • Resilient and persistent — you handle objections and setbacks without losing momentum
  • Clear, confident communicator — in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • Organized and detail-oriented — you keep your CRM clean and your follow-ups tight
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments — offices, job sites, farms, industrial floors
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record — you'll be on the road every day

The Basics (Required)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3+ years of sales or customer-facing experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Based in or willing to commute to the Stockton, CA area

Bonus points (not required):

  • Experience selling to industrial, construction, agricultural, or fleet-based businesses
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Any background in hydraulics, fluid power, or mechanical services

Your Territory: Stockton, CA and the Central Valley

You'll be working out of the greater Stockton area — the geographic and economic heart of California's Central Valley. Agriculture, construction, logistics, manufacturing, mining — this region runs on heavy equipment, and heavy equipment runs on hydraulics. The demand for what PIRTEK offers is everywhere. Your job is to make sure the right people know we're here.

You're home every night. No overnight travel, no living out of a suitcase. This is your community — and you're building something in it.

Ready to Own Your Territory?

This is a role for someone who wants to build, not just maintain. You'll have real autonomy, a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission tied to quarterly revenue targets, and the backing of a nationally recognized brand that's genuinely trusted by the industries it serves.

We're early in our Stockton story — which means the rep who joins now gets to help write it. The relationships you build, the reputation you create, and the revenue you drive will be yours. We'll be right behind you with the training, the tools, and the support to make it happen.
If that's the kind of opportunity you've been looking for — apply today.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
