Position Title: Territory Sales Manager
Job Location: Wichita, Kansas Employment Type: Full Time Summary: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for sales in a defined region of the United States.
· Assists field reps in account strategy
· Achieves sales quotas
· Active management of all aspects of customer relations and revenue growth
· Collaborates effectively with established field reps
· Evaluates under-performing agencies and determine best path forward
· Stays current on new product developments
· Maximizes business potential in the territory
· Achieves ultimate customer satisfaction
Job Requirements:
· Business degree or equivalent experience
· 5 or more years of sales and management experience
· Strong sales presentation skills
· Prior experience with manufacturers reps desired
· Familiarity with applicable codes and standards for products
· Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
· Product development experience
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organizational skills
· Self-motivated
· Dependable
· Proficient computer skills
· Up to 40 percent travel
· The successful candidate must reside or be able to relocate to the Wichita area
