This position will be primarily responsible for clinical and sales support for LAA occlusion therapy occluders

This procedure is complex in nature and requireshigh levelof clinical understanding.  Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab would beadvantageous  Medical Device sales experience would also be looked upon very favourably.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Melbourne based team within our highly successful EP division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and growth within their defined territory as well as supporting Health Care Professionals by providing excellent clinical educationand support.

What You’ll Do

  • Assistcustomers and other clinical stakeholders withStructural Interventioncase planning, including assessing patient suitability.

  • Provide clinicalcasecoverage during theStructural Interventionprocedure.

  • Interact with customers and other clinical stakeholders for any post-caseStructural Interventiondiscussion and evaluation.

  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and physicians within theStructural Interventionaccount (i.e. Interventionalist, Echo Cardiologist, CV Surgeon,NurseCoordinator, Nurse Unit Manager, General Cardiologist) to generate awareness and referrals.

  • Assistin conducting customer training workshop (including echo workshops) ranging from on-boarding training activities to continuous education tomaintainingand increasing physician skill levels.

  • Optimizeprocessregardingpatient screening and procedure scheduling.

  • Call on referring physicians to present theStructural Interventiontechnology and clinical data.

  • Support local and national conferences / programs.

  • Achieving sales targets and increasing market share for your territory as well as providing input to the overall performance of the state

  • Developingrelationships with and service key customer groups,identifyingand utilisingyourkey customer networks.

  • Managingyour consignment stock


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical or Business Management field.

  • Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to confidently discuss this with customers, as well as internal and external experts.

  • Minimum of 2 years Sales Experience / Medical Clinical Support.

  • Proventrack recordin sales / clinicalexcellence, procedure enabling devices that requires significant clinician training

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Medical experience is necessary. Structural Interventionexperience is favourable but not mandatory. 
  • Excellent communication & persuasion skills.
