The team you will be a part of

The Eastern sales team is responsible for selling products and services to a wide range of trade customers, and accountable for the execution of successful sales plans, targets, and budget management within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy.

This role in summary

Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Territory Manager.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Drive reventue and profitability growth for your account portfolio through strategies that include flawless execution of new product launches and transitions, merchandising, online and in-store marketing initiatives, and trade program plans from the buying center office down to the retail floor

  • Work directly with senior buyers, owners, and merchandisers of large accounts

  • Collaborate with cross functional internal teams to drive account growth

  • Develop and execute merchandising programs and promotions

  • Provide effective product training for retail sales associates

  • Develop account base and evaluate new distribution within region

  • Prepare and maintain a business and profit plan through the strategic customer management process

  • Manage established promotional and merchandising program budgets

  • Maximize in-store coverage. Travel (up to 80%) and work occasional evenings/weekends as necessary

Minimum requirements

  • College Degree

  • 3+ years(s) experience in Sales

  • Bilingual (French / English)

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
