About the role:

As a Sales Consultant you will bring expertise and responsiveness to the table every day on a team dedicated to world class customer service and solutions. This career opportunity offers earnings potential along with exposure for career advancement.

• Drive sales of Brandt's Compact Construction Equipment range, including compact excavators, compact track loaders, skid steer loaders, wheel loaders, and related attachments, by building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering equipment solutions that meet customers' operational needs.
• Work and have ownership of a geographic area (which Brandt may amend from time to time, at its sole discretion).
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
• Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
• Monitors trends in customer business and competitors’ activity/products
• Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
• Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
• Assists with the preparation and execution of customers events.
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
• Timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports etc to Management
• Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

About you:

• The ability to grow sales within a specified sale territory. 
• Organization skills are a must have. 
• The capability to balance multiple tasks and priorities. 
• A strong communicator with the skill to effectively influence others. 
• Ability to build and maintain long term relationships. 
• Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
