As a Territory Manager, you will serve as the face of Ecolab for your customers, ranging from independent laundry operations to corporate accounts, including commercialuniform, retail, food & beverage, and hospitality/tourism industries.

What You Will Do:

• Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers

• Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative laundry products and chemicals, processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies

• Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales

• Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training

• Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems

Position Details: 

• This position is based in Knoxville, TN

• Territory covers about a 250-mileradius of the surrounding area

• 50% overnight travel may be required   

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previouschemical sales experience, commercial laundry industry/operations, or plant management experience 

• Flexibility to work emergency calls at night, on weekends, and over holidays

• Position requires a current and valid driver’s license

• Immigration sponsorshipis notavailable for thisposition

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.

• Drive a company vehicle asrequiredto perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed todetermineeligibility to drive a company vehicle) 

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation 

PreferredQualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influencecustomersand build trust

• Previouschemical sales experience, commercial laundry industry/operations, or plant management experience 

• 2+ years’ relevant work or military experience

• 1+ year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trouble shooting experience)
