Lead Safety Innovation Across Africa's Heavy Industry Sectors

Location: Tanzania | Salary: Market Related | Rotation: 3 months on, 3 weeks off

The Role: Territory Manager

This role leads all operations in Tanzania, ensuring safe, high-quality, and profitable service delivery. You'll manage field engineering and support operations across diverse industriesmining, waste, forestry, and morewhile driving regional revenue, building customer relationships, and fostering a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across Tanzania, ensuring delivery excellence and profitability
• Lead and coach field staff, overseeing performance, training, and development
• Plan and coordinate field installations, servicing, and emergency fire system responses
• Ensure all jobs meet compliance and reporting standards, including post-fire reports
• Oversee local materials and stock management, including depot and vehicle inventories
• Enforce safety policies and compliance with OSHA and local regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain fleet and PPE standards
• Support customer inquiries with technical advice and on-site surveys
• Maintain accurate administrative and asset records
• Develop and execute a local sales strategy, meeting clients and growing revenue
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities

About You

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar operations, field, or technical management role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Proven experience in fire protection systems or safety equipment (advantageous)
• Experience in African markets, especially in mining, quarrying, or industrial sectors
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Technically adept with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-driven, sales-oriented, and capable of operating independently
