In the role of Territory Business Manager, be responsible for the own the growth agenda for a portfolio of medicines in your defined geography. You will connect deep scientific knowledge with sharp commercial execution to influence prescribing decisions responsibly, open new doors for recently launched products and build trust with clinicians and institutions. Working within a fast-moving, research-led organization, you will translate strategy into action and outcomes—so that patients receive the care they need sooner.

Your work will be closely aligned to upcoming launches and priority therapeutic areas, where timely education, formulary access and coordinated field activity make a measurable difference. You will thrive with pace, accountability and ownership, bringing insights from the field back to the business to shape strategy and unlock new opportunities.

Accountabilities:

  • Territory Strategy Execution: Translate national brand strategy and plan of action into targeted territory plans that drive adoption, access and market share.

  • Performance Management: Track weekly and monthly performance, diagnose gaps and run corrective actions to deliver against sales targets and critical metrics.

  • Market Development and Access: Facilitate hospital and clinic enlistment for key and newly launched products; guide accounts through approval processes to secure timely access.

  • Customer Engagement: Build strategic partnerships with HCPs, pharmacists and administrators through high-quality, science-led conversations that influence appropriate prescribing.

  • Promotional Excellence: Plan and implement educational and promotional programs, tailoring content to audience needs to elevate product awareness and confidence.

  • Competitive Insights: Analyze competitor activity and market trends; feed actionable insights to cross-functional teams to refine positioning and tactics.

  • Data and CRM Field: Maintain accurate customer classification, account plans and call records; use analytics to prioritize time and optimize coverage.

  • Compliance and Credibility: Act with integrity, uphold all policies and standards, and earn trust through professionalism and patient-first decision-making.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify development areas, seek coaching and apply new capabilities to raise your impact and accelerate territory growth.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Graduate degree in Science/Pharma or equivalent experience

  • Passion for Sales

  • Interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Good Planning and Organisational Skills

  • Excellent Scientific knowledge

  • Ability to develop Strategic Partnership

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Known to work in pharmaceutical field sales or account management with consistent target achievement

  • Experience engaging hospital systems, formularies and procurement pathways to secure product enlistment

  • Launch experience in specialty or primary care markets, ideally within cardiovascular, renal, metabolism, respiratory or immunology

  • Proven track record to create territory business plans using data and segmentation to prioritize high-impact activities

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and analytics to drive call planning, follow-ups and performance tracking

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills in group and one-to-one clinical settings

  • Established relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers within the territory

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned geography
