Your Job

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Territory Business Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage sales within a portion of the West region, calling on agricultural retailers, dealers, distribution partners, and retail head offices to drive profitable sales growth.

Our Team

This field-based role will be located within the territory being supported, which includes the Pacific Northwest (PNW). The successful candidate must reside within the supported territory.

The role includes significant day travel, overnight stays, and travel of up to 75%. A company truck will be provided.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the business and drive profitable growth across the assigned territory.
  • Develop, own, and manage relationships with key customers, agricultural retailers, dealers, distributors, and target accounts.
  • Create and execute territory sales strategies, prioritization plans, forecasts, and growth initiatives.
  • Develop a point of view on effective sales strategies and tactics that create value for customers and the business.
  • Partner with marketing and product line teams to develop tools, identify market opportunities, and support portfolio expansion.
  • Present and educate audiences including General Managers, Senior Buyers, Dealers, Wholesalers, Distribution Representatives, Retail Sales Teams, and Growers.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance and communicate growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to support product development and value creation initiatives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Two or more years of field-based agriculture sales or marketing experience.
  • Experience in the crop, fertilizer, agricultural chemical, seed treatment, seed enhancement, or broader agriculture industry.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to reside within and effectively support the Pacific Northwest territory.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Five or more years of field-based, value-added agriculture sales or marketing experience.
  • Experience selling across large geographic territories.
  • Experience working through distribution channels and agricultural retail networks.
  • Manufacturer or retail sales experience in fertility, chemical, biological, seed, or crop input products.
  • Agricultural retail facility management experience.
