Position Overview:
FR Conversions is looking for a driven and experienced Territorial Sales Representative to grow and manage customer relationships in a defined region. This role will focus on the East Coast and Midwest territories, and candidates should be based within or willing to relocate to one of these regions to effectively support the assigned market. This is a key field sales role focused on expanding our presence in the accessible and emergency vehicle markets. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the retail mobility or vehicle conversion space, with a strong ability to drive sales, build customer relationships, and represent our mission in the field. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Retail Sales and requires regular travel within your territory and periodic visits to our headquarters in Westminster, MD.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and industry event participation.
- Deliver expert product education and consultative selling tailored to customer needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Territorial Development
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
- Represent FR Conversions at local, regional, and national trade shows and networking events.
- Lead on-site product and vehicle demonstrations for clients and prospects.
- Own pipeline management and forecasting, providing regular updates to sales leadership.
Customer Support & Collaboration
- Partner with internal departments including Product, Marketing, and Operations to deliver excellent customer service.
- Collect and relay customer feedback and market insights to help drive continuous improvement in products and processes.
- Support customer vehicle pickup coordination and assist with delivery logistics as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
As part of the sales process, the Territorial Sales Representative will be responsible for keeping key records updated, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth execution of field operations. This includes:
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, territory activity, and sales performance using CRM tools.
- Coordinating delivery logistics, customer vehicle pickups, and product demonstrations.
- Submitting purchase orders, contracts, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with the inside sales and operations teams to ensure customer orders and inquiries are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Reporting key feedback and competitive intelligence from the field to Sales and Product teams.
- Supporting vehicle inspections and delivery documentation when necessary.

Compensation:
This is a full-time, salaried and commission role. Compensation is based on experience and performance. All salary and commission payments are subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings per company policy and legal requirements.

QualificationsRequirements and

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, specifically in the automotive, mobility, emergency vehicle, or vehicle conversion industry.
- Experience working with dealer networks or regional vehicle distributors.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and public-sector fleet requirements.
- Proven success in mobility vehicle sales, commercial vehicle upfitting, or emergency vehicle sales.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using sales enablement tools such as CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital collaboration tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory and periodically to company headquarters in Westminster, MD.
Screening Requirements:
- A valid and current driver’s license is required; candidates must provide proof of renewal upon expiration.
- A clean driving record demonstrated through a motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be conducted prior to employment and annually thereafter.
- Proof of current and continuous individual automobile insurance is required throughout employment.
