About the Role

This is a 6 month limited term contract.

Reporting to the Terminal Manager, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the LPG Terminal. This includes filling LPG cylinders, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining equipment and stock, and ensuring all activities are carried out in line with safety, operational procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, unload and dispatch LPG in accordance with operating procedures
• Load and unload bulk LPG and maintain adequate stocks of cylinders and bulk vessels
• Carry out cylinder repairs, retesting, inspections and routine terminal checks
• Complete stock control, records, stocktakes and required documentation
• Identify hazards and take decisive action to stop operations where safety or compliance risks are identified

What will you bring?

• Current forklift license
• Experience handling hazardous substances in an operational or industrial environment
• At least two years’ relevant experience with a strong safety record
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a hands‑on terminal role
• A proactive accountable mindset with the confidence to speak up on safety and compliance matters
